Brentwood Village Playground Capital Improvement Program Location 15th and Downing Streets, NE, Washington, DC Planned Use A public multi-purpose recreation facility. General Description Meetings have been held with the community to ensure input in the planning and development process. The refurbished building will include improved site amenities, site signage and ADA compliance improvements. Work is to include new playground equipment, fencing, paving/walkways, landscaping, restoration of "T"- ball field and basketball court. Signage and ADA compliance. The state of the art facility will include a multi-purpose room, music/recording room, computer classroom, crafts room, an office, storage space, a lounge, and men's and women's rooms. Site Improvements Site improvements include the complete replacement and restoration of the baseball field, new fencing, a community vegetable garden, horseshoes, playground equipment and other amenities - including re-grading, reconfiguration, site drainage, a sprinkler system, dugouts, fencing, landscaping and more.
