Department of Parks and Recreation Breaks Ground on New Fields at Fort Reno Park On Thursday, September 18, 2008, Mayor Adrian M. Fenty, Ward 3 Councilmember Mary Cheh, and DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) Director Clark E. Ray, and the Ward 3 community broke ground on new fields at Fort Reno Park, 41st and Chesapeake Streets, NW. DPR is constructing a competition-quality natural turf baseball diamond, full-size soccer field, and a practice field for soccer, which can also be used as two youth soccer fields.
